Growing up surfing a lot of slabby, gnarly reef breaks has enabled Clay to develop a very special and even intimate relationship with the reef. His percentages of making crazy under the hook late drops or just navigating through the reef unscathed are unusually high, but nobody get’s away clean all the time.

There is no denying that Clay is one of the most gifted surfers in the world and this video solidifies it for me. It’s great to see him pull off the amazing, but it’s even more insperational to see him get pitched like me. This vid gets me fired up to charge even harder. Thanks!
